About Farflung Infinite
Updated: November 1, 2026
Farflung Infinite is an unofficial, fan-made geography game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Farflung LLC or the makers of Farflung in any way. The original daily game is Farflung at farflung.game. It's made by Steve and published by Farflung LLC, according to its About page.
Why does Farflung Infinite exist?
The original Farflung gives everyone one daily game of five prompts. Its site says an unlimited mode isn't available yet. We built Farflung Infinite for players who want more rounds in the same spirit: one country per prompt, several correct answers, and more reward for less obvious ones. If you enjoy it, please play the original too. It has the real daily puzzle, official answer rulings and features we don't have.
What is original to this site?
- Our own prompts and answer lists. Our prompts are generated by our own rules from open data (Natural Earth, which is public domain) plus geography fact lists we compile and check against cited references. We don't copy prompts or answer lists from the official game. See Sources.
- Our own code and design. The game, the rarity tier names (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Very Rare, Outlier) and this site's visual design are ours. We don't use the Farflung logo or artwork.
- Our own daily round. "Daily Infinite" is our shared daily round. Its answers and archive cover our round only.
Who runs Farflung Infinite?
Farflung Infinite is an independent fan project run by geography-game fans. The best way to reach us is by email at support@farflunginfinite.com.
How is the site funded?
The game is free. Ads served by Google AdSense pay for hosting and development. Ads appear only on our content pages, never inside the game, and they never change what counts as a correct answer. Our Privacy Policy explains how ads and cookies work.
